| Jojoba Oil | Simmondsia chinensis. Grown and extracted in the southwestern United States. Also known as goat nut, deer nut, or wild hazel. The uniqueness of this oil comes from its structure. It is a very long, straight-chain wax ester, rather than it being a triglyceride like most plant oils. Because of this, it more closely mimics the human body's natural sebum.
