Urtica Dioca. One of the PNW's most beneficial herbs. As soon as I overcame my fear of the temporary pain that the stingers cause, nettle became a staple in my products and in my own personal consumption. Stinging Nettle is extremely nutritious, loaded with antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, wound healing, diuretic, and can help naturally lower blood pressure. They are best harvested in the spring when they are young, before they've gone to flower, however you can find and use them through the summer as well!
